There are many reasons why children can be discriminated against.

All forms of discrimination against children are exacerbated by virtue of their age and vulnerability. This means that they are easy vistims of discrimination because, for example, they do not have access to courts and complaints mechanisms on an equal basis with adults. The more vulnerable they are, the more chance they have of being discriminated against, because they do not know either theirs rights or their opportunities for development. We have to take into account all children, not forgetting the most vulnerable ones: children with disabilities, refugee children, children in armed conflict.

The more vulnerable they are, the more chance they have of being discriminated against, because they do not know either theirs rights or their opportunities for development.

We have to take into account all children, not forgetting children (boys and girls) with disabilities, refugee children, children with no resources.
