In Belgium, KIYO strengthens private initiatives from the "Fourth Pillar of Development Cooperation" aimed at improving the rights of children and youth in the Global South. At the start of 2020, KIYO successfully ended three coaching trajectories : Bhalo Bangla, Niños de la Luna, and Añañau. See below their reactions after this fantastic learning pathway.

"The experienced KIYO coach challenged us to reflect upon our work with children in Bangladesh. Thanks to the support of KIYO, we were well prepared before our field visit and managed to realise much more sustainable actions compared to our previous visits." - Bhalo Bangla

"Together with KIYO we updated our volunteer policy, developed a child protection policy and code of conduct. Now we are equipped to continue our work on defending children’s rights as local changemakers in Peru."  - Niños de la Luna

"We felt that KIYO really listened to us and gave us the room to learn and grow at our own pace. We now understand the difference between real youth participation and tokenism." - Añañau
